3.1 Safety at our centre
All equipment and resources in the centre are well maintained to prevent injury to your child. While every care is taken to ensure that injury does not occur, from time to time, children do have accidents. We will endeavour to contact the parent should an accident require medical attention.
3.2 Fire Evacuation
The sign in register is used to check the attendance of children when we have a fire drill. For your child’s safety, remember to sign in and out. For your own information in case of a fire or an emergency read the fire procedure and evacuation plan in each room at the centre.
3.3 Child Protection
The centre has policies in place regarding the protection of children. Our Educators, Directors and Approved Provider ensure the wellbeing of every child. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children who use our service. Our employees/volunteers all hold a current blue card and will treat all children with respect and understanding at all times.
3.4 Privacy and Data Protection
Little Explorers Child Care Centre identifies that it has a service obligation to comply with confidentiality and privacy legislation.
